Bajaj Kristal DTS-i , a scooterette segment vehicle launched by Bajaj Auto, is aimed to target the young college girls and is designed for easy city riding. Bajaj Kristal DTS-i has a 95 cc DTS-I (Digital Twin Spark Ignition Engine), 4-Stroke, Air-Cooled engine with a 4 speed automatic transmission. Kristal DTS-i boasts of the Bajaj own patented DTS-i technology with Exhaus TEC which offers excellent driving comforts.


Bajaj Kristal DTS-i has front fuel filling system with the remote fuel cap, so that the rider does not need to get up from the seat to open the seat for fuel filling. The most attractive feature Bajaj Kristal DTS-i is its penta lock system which make rider able to operate five functions with single key - ignition, petrol, seat opening, tank cap, steering lock, unique accelerator lock which benefits maximum convenience. The automatic lamps of Kristal DTS-i has a light sensor which automatically switches on the pilot lamp, tail light and Speedo console light which provides more convenience and safety to the rider. Bajaj Auto hopes to sell more than 1 Lakh Kristal DTSi in 2009.
